Jay A. Yelton passed away at his home in Tacoma, Washington in early May 2014. Jay was born in 1950 in Bellingham, Washington to George and Virginia Yelton. After high school, Jay followed in the footsteps of his father and joined the United States Navy to serve his country during the Vietnam War. He will be remembered for his creativity in the arts and his interests in science. As a singer, songwriter, and musician, he would often send his song sketches to his family members for review. He is survived by his old sister, nephew, and great-niece. He is loved by his family and by his good friend "Jack". He will be missed!
