Obituary for Bradley Sargent

On March 7, 2018, Bradley Roger Sargent, age 58, lost his 10 year battle with leukemia cancer at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, WA. He went peacefully with his daughter and friend by his side. Born in Pipestone, MN, he was a retired Public School Teacher of Earth Science, as well as accomplished pilot, owning and building his first airplanes by 18 yrs old. He enjoyed Landscaping as a side job and lifelong hobby, planting gardens even when cancer took the use of his legs the last years of his life. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a Bachelors in Earth Science Education in the 90s. He is survived by his 2 children, Annika (Sargent) Welsh and Jonathan Sargent; as well as 5 brothers and sisters, Bryan Sargent, Bob Sargent, Beverly Curtis, Brenda Dries, and Barbara Sullivan. Predeceased by parents, Doris (Cooper) Sargent and Robert Sargent. An Irish Wake potluck, folk music, and scattering of ashes will be held at The Luminarium in Tacoma, WA, on Saturday, May 5, 2018.
