The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Felix Chanez can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

The lighting of a Memorial Candle not only provides a gesture of sympathy and support to the immediate family during their time of need but also provides the gift of extending the Book of Memories for future generations.

My dear husband

To my funny, lovable, adventurous and romatic soulmate,

I miss you every day.  Your positive attitude, your smile, your toasty warm body in my bed, your great cooking, your willingness to work so hard to keep the houlse in order from cleaning gutters to powerwashing the driveway and patio, from hanging Christmas lights to putting a watering system in my garden beds.  Your vision is what created the beautiful home we live in, from the first patio to the expanded patio, sprinkler system for our lawns, our espaliered trees, our flower baskets, our patio furniture,

Your love and support for me over the years was unflagging and your love and support for Emily (Erin) was what every daughter should hope for.  I am so sorry that you won't be here to see her perform in all her plays, graduate from high school and college and maybe have a father daughter dance at her wedding.  She will feel that loss as keenly as I do, but I think even more.

I'll try to be more adventurous on your behalf and get her to do things outside of her comfort zone.  I'll learn to be more experimental in my cooking and finish teaching her how to drive.  I bought her the Subaru you wanted her to have and she really likes it.

I am so sorry that we won't be able to travel together as we had planned.  I'll have to go to Antarctica without you, I suppose.  :) I'll visit your family as often as possible because they are so sad that you are gone.

Take care and I hope we are together again one day.

Love, Annette
