Condolence: I first met Max on the job in 1998, and we seemed to share quite a bit of common history, and we established a friendship right off. However, as he functioned as our 'Asbestos Regulator', we kept our contacts to the work side. In 2008, Max began to obtain two of his Asbestos Refresher classes on JBLM, with me as the instructor. He always brought sage insight into each class he attended, and I learned many new things through his discourse. We also shared commonality in our political views, and I will fondly remember many conversations in that area. Firm but gentle, intelligent and thoughtful, I will miss Max greatly.
