Marti Smallwood passed away Saturday January 28, 2017 in Tacoma, Washington at the age of 61 years old.
She was born in Louisville, Kentucky and is preceded in death by her father Martin Dale Cook, mother Josephine Cook, and sister Debbie Cook. Marti is survived by her brother Kelly Cook, sister Susan Keeling, daughter Stephani McPherson (son-in-law Thomas McPherson), grandson Ryan McPherson, son Michael Smallwood ( Daughter-in-law Satin Griffith) , grandson Dakota Smallwood.
Marti spent her years taking care of her children, then looking after the elderly in her extended family. She was loved by her family and friends and will be dearly missed. In keeping with her wishes there will not be services held, instead we ask that family and friends alike raise a toast in her honor while listening to Mr. Seger.
