Obituary for Curtis Adams

Curtis Adams, 53, Puyallup, WA, passed away peacefully at Good Samaritan Hospital on July 4th, 2016. He was surrounded by his family, friends and coworkers. Curt was known for his infectious smile and his animated story telling. If there was ever a friend in need, he would do whatever he could to help them. He was highly respected in his field, the natural gas industry, for 30+ years. He set the standard for all other coworkers, and was an exemplary employee. He was the "ultimate" company man. He never met a stranger that didn't walk away feeling like they had made a new friend. Curt was also hardworking at home, including home improvement projects, and working on vehicles. He was the go-to guy when anyone needed advice on fixing just about anything. His knowledge and skills will be missed by so many friends and family. Curt's pride and joy was his two daughters. He worked so hard to provide for them and made sure they had everything they needed. He was married for 25 years to Laura Adams, and they remained close until his untimely death.

Curtis Adams was preceded in death by his father, James B Adams, and is survived by his mother, Mona (Jerry) Peterson, siblings Shelly (Cory) Gloege, Sheila (John) Pfeifer, and James (Shari) Adams, his two daughters, Stephanie Schell and Brooke Adams, his three granddaughters, Madison Schell, Akaiya Forbes and Alizah Forbes, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
