Ruth Marie (Moore) Tipper was a lifetime resident of Tacoma, WA. She was the second child to the late Percy and Cleo Moore. She was born February 5, 1947. She went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2016.
Ruth attended Central Elementary, McCarver Jr. High and graduated from Stadium High School in 1965. She retired from Tacoma School District after many years of service.
Ruth met and married Jerry Tipper (deceased). From that union they had one daughter, Jeria.
Ruth enjoyed cooking for friends and family. She also was an excellent seamstress. She was very out spoken in her own way and had a huge heart for others. She loved and cared deeply for her daughter and grandchildren.
Ruth leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Jeria Smith, (3) grandchildren Ah’viona, K’layah, Tyrone Jr. (3) sisters Etta Logan (John), Mary Baxter (Ron), Cathy Trotter (Walter) all from Tacoma WA, (1) brother Percy Moore, Jr. of Laurenceville, GA as well as a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorial services will be held July 30, 2016 at 10AM at Shilo Baptist Church, Tacoma WA
