Obituary for Roger Lampitt

Roger  Lampitt
Roger Lampitt, Tacoma, Washington August 5, 1944 – October 22, 2015
Born in Toledo, Washington Roger was the son of Edward and Martha Lampitt. He graduated from Toledo High School in 1962 and Washington State University in 1966. Roger was a member of Alpha Gamma Rho at WSU. After graduating from WSU Roger had a distinguished 49 year career at Land O’Lakes.
During his long career Roger volunteered for, and supported Future Farmers of America and 4H, he was also active in the International Snowmobile Association and was a member of the Snowmobile Hall of Fame, Roger was also a Coach and Mentor for the Washington State Vocational Education. Roger was an active volunteer with the Puyallup State Fair and sat on the Board of Directors for many local, national and international organizations.
Roger is survived by his loving wife Helen Lampitt, mother Martha Lampitt, sister Terri Zion, son Jason Lampitt, daughter Cindy Galusha, grandchildren Tanner Lampitt, Stephan Lampitt, Taryn Lampitt, Jennifer Galusha, and Abigail Galusha, great granddaughter Lilly Evans.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Roger Lampitt FFA Memorial Scholarship Fund at Heritage Bank Sumner, Washington.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Mid-County Community Center 10205 44th Ave E, Tacoma, WA November 22nd from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
