Fredrick (Bud) Owen of Steilacoom passed away 8 September 2015 in Tacoma, Washington. He was born 19 August, 1925 in Sayre, Pennsylvania to Fred and Marian Owen. His career included the Washington State Patrol for 33 years, followed by 21 years driving buses for the Steilacoom School District. He was pre-ceded in death by his sister June and survived by his wife Ingeborg, his three children, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his dog Mr. T. Fred was Grand Master of Steilacoom Lodge No. 2 in 1965. He en-joyed family gatherings, classic car restoration, camping, watching Baseball, as well as a good slice of choco-late pie. A memorial service will be held at St. Joseph-St. John Episcopal Church, 11111 Military Road SW Lakewood, WA, at 1:30 p.m., Saturday 26 September.
